Fleas

If you suspect you have a flea infestation, Mid Wales and Borders will conduct an initial survey to confirm and offer advice.

To treat we offer a ‘crack and crevice’ treatment - dusting or spraying around skirting boards and corners.

We also use an Ultra Low Volume (ULV) sprayer which has an immediate ‘knock down’ effect on the flea. It stays in the air for approximately one hour but also has a residual effect on the hatching eggs as it lands in all the cracks and crevices of the room.

Following ULV treatment it is advised that floor coverings are not vacuumed for as long as possible to allow the residual effects of the spray to take effect. All hard surfaces however should be wiped clean before use.
